Summer Camps

To all of our Yes! And... Tribe- we miss you! We miss so many things, but most of all, we miss being in the same room playing and making things together. Like you, we can't wait to get back to camp!

At this time we do plan to have in-person programming but it will be different from years past. Our program will be smaller so that we can focus on keeping both the kids and our staff safe. Over the next month, we will release information about what you can expect so that you can make an informed decision for your family before registering.

Just like last year, this summer will again look different. But we are excited to discover those differences together and make something from them. We won’t be able to gather together in the same ways to celebrate so we will make new celebrations. Because we have characters to make, dances to discover, sculptures to mold, stories and feelings to tell, new and old friends to find.

We can't wait to create with you! - Chris, Brooke, Krista, Debbie & The Yes! And... Summer Staff

We organize our Summer programs by grades (entering in the fall). To see which programs are available to you, please select from the list below!

Kindergarten - 4th Grades

Imagination Camp

Imagination Camp is a summer performing arts camp that is specifically designed for campers in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Camp sessions are one week long! This camp lays the foundations for effective collaboration as kids play hard with purpose while being introduced to and developing the skills of the creative theatre arts.

5th - 8th Grades

Summer Theatre Camp

Campers in 5th through 8th are taught acting, dance/movement, visual arts, storytelling/playwriting, all of which culminate in a final performance created, produced, and performed by the campers. During their time at camp, campers become members of small tribes. Through play and work in daily classes, campers create with their tribe imagined identities, roles, shared history, myths, and story. All campers are taught by professional artist teachers, and are accompanied from class to class by Travelers (counselors) and Junior Staff (Shadow Company members).

Campers can participate in the two-week intensive without performing, but they are encouraged to work on the show in other backstage supporting roles.
